OVERVIEW
An overhaul of a government client's travel system was progressing quickly, but communication about the new system hadn't kept pace. Ahead of release, the client commissioned a multi-faceted launch campaign to show the scope and impact of the reinvented system.

ROLE
I worked as the Lead Designer and Illustrator to develop the artistic style of the campaign and execute on designs. I also worked with manufacturers and installers for the environmental designs.

OUTCOME
We created a sense of drama throughout the advertising and environments which conveyed the critical role employees play as they travel the globe to accomplish mission needs. This helped the client center its people in the transformation process and improve adoption upon release.
Illustration & Advertising
After conversations with the client, I decided that the advertising campaign needed to balance excitement of travel with the realities of often unglamorous destinations. To accomplish this, I focused heavily on the use of dramatic lighting and perspectives to create a sense of intrigue in my illustrations. 
This imagery was developed alongside messaging that highlighted the promise of the client's new travel system. The resulting campaign struck a balance between aspirational and realistic, resonating with the target audience and easing the radical transformation.
Environmental & Communications Design
We further enhanced the advertising campaign with refreshes of the client's physical and digital space, drawing from the idea of topological maps to create wall graphics and internal communications materials.
