Pumpkins for Pigs
Branding
Social Media
OVERVIEW
A non-profit devoted to preventing food waste needed a brand which felt approachable and authentic, whether that be on social media or at the farmers market.
ROLE
I developed the brand through research and a workshop with the client and then worked to translate those findings to a refined social media approach.
OUTCOME
Not only did the brand position Pumpkins for Pigs for expansion, but the branding workshop helped the client further refine their own concept of the organization and its mission.
Branding
The process focused on creating a cohesive visual identity that reflected the non-profit's mission and values while connecting with its target audience of young families. This led to a brand that centered on a friendly mark supported by more refined typography and heavy use of photography to center the non-profit's message of sustainability and community engagement while also being approachable and authentic.
Social Media
When not out at the local farmers market, Pumpkins for Pigs lives on social media. They needed help translating their new brand into eye-catching posts to keep their partners engaged and informed. I worked to integrate the brand's rich colors and bold graphic elements with photography that reminded viewers of the very tangible work that Pumpkins for Pigs does at farms throughout the country.
